Lean Master Certification Program

 

Course description: The Lean Master Certification Program is geared to making the most effective use of people, machines and equipment, facilities and every process in the organization (administrative, service, and production) to allow the greatest throughput with the least amount of capital investment.

The program is intended to equip those leading the Lean Enterprise with the necessary skills to achieve long term success in pursuing lean as a strategic initiative.

Course Approach: It focuses on using operational resources as efficiently as possible allowing the company to achieve improvements in throughput, productivity, material and labor costs, safety, space utilization, and cycle time.

The program is taught in ten two-day weeks.  Training is 80 hours total, including 16 hours for project review and presentation.

Basic Requirements for Certification:

·         Successful completion of the appropriate training. 

·         Two projects in an acceptable format which are reviewed and evaluated by TMAC specialists. 

·         Proof of savings and/or reductions - ROI (dollar amount, lead time, space, etc) when submitting the final project. 

·         Projects must be validated by company’s Finance Department.
