I Graduated in 1994 as a Computer Systems and Networks Analyst
from the Instituto Technologico de Sistemas de Monterrey in Monterrey Mexico and obtained a B.S.
in Computer Science (2002) from the University of Texas-Pan American. I earned my Masters of Science
in Interdisciplinary Studies (MSIS) in Physics (2006) at UTPA.
I have been working for the Department of Physics and Geology at UTPA since 1999 as a Research
Assistant (1999-2001), as Physics Education Coordinator (2001-2003), and was the Laboratory
Stores Assistant (2003-2006) and Teaching Assistant (2001-2006) for Physical Science, Physics and
Astronomy laboratories.
Since 2006 I hold the position of Laboratory Supervisor and teach various Physical Science,
Physics and Astronomy labs as well.
