Free SBNRC Membership
Membership with all its benefits is Free to individuals, groups or organizations!
Joining the SBNRC is easy.
- Simply click on the button in the left column marked Member Profile or click here.
- Complete the word document titled Member/Organizational Profile that includes one page of organizational information and an attached self-assessment of core capacity activities.
- Return the completed profile to sbnrc@utpa.edu or fax to 956-665-2322 Attn: Stronger Together
Once the project director receives and reviews your completed profile, you are a member! You will receive a welcome call and email from the director plus an opportunity to meet with her for a one-to-one counseling session that will provide you with a list of priority recommendations to increase your core capacity and social impact. You will then also begin receiving special invitations to training and networking events available first to members.
Stronger Together Initiative Membership
In addition, organizations operating in Hidalgo and Starr Counties are eligible for Stronger Together Membership. The initiative funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is a project specific for nonprofits operating in Hidalgo and Starr Counties and will provide members with capacity building training, technical assistance and competitive funding. Membership into this group will allow you priority access to Stronger Together Initiative activities.
If you are an individual or group of individuals looking to become a nonprofit corporation, you are also eligible for membership.
Completing and submitting the member profile is the only path to membership.
