The 2008-2009 HHMI Research Applications are available now online and in the Chemistry and Biology Department Offices.
The deadline for applications is May 1, 2009.

The Howard Hughes Medical Institute Grant (HHMI) program is a comprehensive effort to enhance the quality of science education at The University of Texas-Pan American (UTPA). The program focuses on improving access to bioscience careers for students throughout the Rio Grande Valley and on improving the undergraduate experience for bioscience students at UTPA.
