Dear musicians:

It is my pleasure to announce the first edition of the Pan American Music Festival which will be held at the Fine Arts Complex of the University of Texas-Pan American from June 2-7, 2008.

We are excited with the new format for this summer music program, which will include daily concert performances, technique classes, master classes, private lessons, teachers training sessions, and an instrument repair workshop.

During this week you will have the opportunity to meet a group of internationally renowned performers and pedagogues who will be joining the UTPA string faculty. This is a great opportunity to refine your technical and musical skills and also to get started on your preparation for All-State and All-Region auditions.
