UTPA Staff Senate

Committees

Staff Senate committees are the major functioning part of the Staff Senate. They provide an avenue for staff to become better informed in specialized areas and for the Staff Senate to carry out its purpose.

Appointment recommendations to Staff Senate committees are made by the Vice-Chair for approval by the Executive Council. Committee appointments are for one year terms from July to August.

Committees make reports and recommendations through the Executive Council to the Staff Senate. Committees function only with the approval of the Executive Council.
