SCHEDULED TO GO TO ROTC ADVANCED CAMP
Founding father, Hiram Gonzalez will depart to Ft. Lewis, Washington on June the 8th, for ROTC Advanced Camp. Advanced Camp is a 4-week training process that earns all ROTC students a right of passage into the Military Science, Senior-level courses. It trains the cadet to be a future officer in the U.S. Army, and introduces him/her to the stress of leadership. Cadet Gonzalez will then depart soon after to Ft. Bragg, North Carolina, for alternate training (C.T.L.T.), to further develop his leadership skills. The total training departure will be a total of 7 weeks. Hiram is also a graduate of ROTC Basic Camp, a 5-week basic training course at Ft. Knox, KY. To be expected is the Army's change to a black beret in June 14th (the Army's B-day).
