Thursday November 19th, University of Texas-Pan American.  D.U. received second place in Bronc Olympics games, a once-a-year event (hosted by the University and Army ROTC) that tests the student organizations and Greeks on campus for athletic and leadership skills.  The event took place during and after activity period (lasted from 12:00PM to 2:30PM).

On Thursday, November 15th, D.U. competed against other student organizations including Army ROTC, Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority, Sisters of Service (KDChi interest group), Phi Delta Theta, Phi Kappa Theta, Bachuss and Gamma, Student Government Association, and many others.  The Chapter was put to the test and endured until the very end.

The event consisted of various obstacle courses devised with the help of ROTC student and referee Rex Resendez.  It consisted of a 42-foot tower, a human bowling ally, an inflatable obstacle course, a maze, and a scavenger hunt consisting of clues and dares.  D.U. managed to beat ROTC on the 42-foot tower, and beat all the other student organizations and greeks, finally, one week later the results showed Army ROTC to be the winner of the 6th annual "Bronc Olympics" game by 1 Point!

Among the competitors was Bro. Hugo Rincon, Bro Juan Hernandez, Bro. Jake Chappell, Bro. John Markley and 6 associate members.  The Competition was tough, the obstacles were fun, the Challenge was fierce, the Team-work was Good.  Excellent Job by D.U. and better luck next-time.
