SouthEast Tejaztlan Region of MEChA

Attention Vendors: Booths will be set up for vendors interested in selling Chicano-oriented merchandize. Booths will consist of one 6 ft. table and two chairs. Electrical outlets will be available but vendors must bring their own extension cords. The following rules have been set for vendors:

Vendors are responsible for all their products and display items.
Vendors are responsible for their own meals and lodging.
Products that are obscene or offensive will not be tolerated.
El Sexto Sol de MEChA asks that all vendors submit a list of their products and their cost per unit. As a courtesy, and if time permits, we will compile a list and distribute it along with the mailouts. (Students will know how much money to bring for the items.)

Information Booths: Community organizations interested in distributing flyers, newsletters, or any other material can apply for an information booth for free. The deadline for information booths is September 30, 1998. The following guidelines have been placed for the information booths:

All literature must comply with the philosophies of MEChA and El Movimiento. El Sexto Sol de MEChA has the sole authority to decide what complies and what contradicts with our philosophies.
There will be no costs/fees for literature from the information booth.
A copy of any material (petitions, surveys, pamhlets, etc.) that will be distributed must be submitted with the registration application.
No one will be allowed to distribute any information without the consent of El Sexto Sol de MEChA.
El Sexto Sol de MEChA has right to refuse any application.
