New Hire Plus: What is it?

  • On-line Position Requisition
    • New Position (Non-budgeted) Request within Oracle
    • Follow Delegation of Authority Rules
    • Single Requisition Form
    • Empower Account Manager or Support Staff to initiate position requisition within Oracle
    • Workflow for Approval Process
  • Enhanced On-line New Hire Process (MOE)
    • Follow Delegation of Authority Rules
    • Allow Support Staff to Initiate the Process on behalf of Account Manager
    • Allow for Processing of Departmental Re-Hire
  • Automated Accounts Creation and Notifications
    • All accounts are created (email, Oracle, and User)
    • Passwords are synchronized
    • Letter sent to new employee at home address with account and password information, log-on directions, temporary parking permit, and other requested information
    • Email notification will be sent to IT Help Desk, Police Department, and Telephone Services
Project Details
  • Pilot program participants will be the first line of support and are responsible for all staff/faculty trainings for their departments/colleges.
  • Training for pilot program participants will begin in April.
