Friends of Library to sponsor program on Valley Land Fund wildlife photos Feb. 1 at UT Pan American

The Friends of the Library at The University of Texas-Pan American will host a lecture and slide presentation on the Valley Land Fund Wildlife Photo Contest by John Martin at 2 p.m. Feb. 1 in the Schilling Room on the second floor of the University Library.

Martin is the president of the Valley Land Fund and creator of the photo contest.

The program is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. For more information, call 381-2755.

Other upcoming Friends of the Library events include a Monterrey museum weekend tour Feb. 20-22 and a program on the history of the tango March 8.
