Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 22 and 23, also will be holidays for many university employees, but offices will be open for official business.
Later in January, the campus will also be closed on Jan. 19, Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Originally scheduled to be the first class day of the spring semester, the day's addition to the holiday schedule has led to changes in the spring academic calendar. The first class day will now be Tuesday, Jan. 20.
