The Perfect Pair is the first-time powerful partnership of these two organizations that promote the importance of early childhood intervention and services for those living with disabilities to build strong foundations for a lifetime of learning.
This red carpet event will include a live runway auction showcasing Gucci, Michael Kors and Kate Spade, among other brands, a silent auction, and fabulous food and drinks. The proceeds will support the programs and services of Easter Seals RGV as well as students enrolled at UTPA who are living with disabilities.
Two “Power Pairs,” Bill and Jodi Hamer of Hamer Enterprises Inc. and Bob and Janet Vackar of Bert Ogden Rio Grande Valley, will be honored that evening for their outstanding commitment to service in the Rio Grande Valley. Both couples have continuously demonstrated their support for the success of all Valley children, and encourage education, research and philanthropy.
“This partnership with the University and Easter Seals is powerful. Helping those with disabilities to move from cradle to college and build a solid foundation for their lives is imperative," Bill Hamer said. "We are very proud of Easter Seals for all their dedication to the children of the Rio Grande Valley, and of UTPA for making sure nothing will get in the way of all our kids pursuing their dreams.”
Proceeds from The Perfect Pair will benefit more than 2,500 children and adults living with disabilities in the Rio Grande Valley.
Tickets are $40 per person. For more information about the event or sponsorship opportunities, please call (956) 631-9171.
