|The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile™ rode in to The University of Texas-Pan American Tuesday, Feb. 15 in search of college seniors who can cut the mustard in promoting the business.|
Maria Loida and Patrick McLaughlin, representatives from the meat and cold cut production company, will be on campus Feb. 16 and 17 to meet with graduating students who are interested in becoming one of 12 official Oscar Mayer spokespeople to travel throughout the country for one year.
The company is looking at students who are majoring in marketing, business, public relations and communications, however all majors are welcome to apply.
Oscar Mayer representatives will return Feb. 23 for an information session from 5-6 p.m. at the Student Union Sage Room 2.406. Those interested in applying are asked to bring their résumés.
The Wienermobile™ first hit the road in 1936. More than 300 college graduates have had the opportunity to drive the 27-foot-long hotdog on wheels across the United States.
