The golf tournament allows UTPA alumni and friends to connect and raise money for scholarships and student activities, said Debby Grant, Director of Alumni Relations.
The event begins at 1 p.m. and the tournament will run through 6 p.m.
Sponsorships for the tournament range from $1,500 to $7,500 for those who wish to play. Hole sponsorships of $500 are also available. The cost includes green fees, lunch, dinner and drinks, as well as expenses for carts, range and balls.
The tournament has raised about $630,000 since it began two decades ago.
