“Despite the progress Proyecto Azteca has made there are many families that are living in unimaginable conditions. We believe that communities should be built from bottom to top,” Javeria Farooqi, MBAA president, said. “We must lend a hand to those in need and help them stand on their feet so they can become a valuable asset to our community.”
Entertainment, keynote speakers, games and prizes will highlight the evening. Ticket prices are as follows: $500 per table; $50 non-UTPA student: $40 MBAA Alumni; $35 UTPA student; and $25 MBAA member. Sponsorships at the platinum, gold and silver levels are also available. Donations to the organization are tax deductible.
“We are seeking monetary support to make this dinner a success. The proceeds will go toward helping a family build their home,” Farooqi said.
