The University of Texas-Pan American Bronc TV/Radio student staff invites the UTPA community and public to the official ribbon cutting and open house of the new stations Friday, Oct. 17 from 11:45 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Bronc TV/Radio studio, located south of UTPA library.

“Our goal is to become the student voice for the university community,” said Frederick Mann, adviser/general manager of Bronc TV/Radio and communication professor.

According to Mann, Bronc TV/Radio began as a sports club in 2004 covering volleyball and basketball games for the UTPA athletic department. Since 2006, UTPA students have worked on newscasts broadcast via the Internet. Bronc TV/Radio features University news including the various colleges, interviews, special events and athletics.

Bronc TV/Radio is available exclusively online at For more information, contact Mann at
