The fair, held from 4-8 p.m., will offer prospective students the opportunity to learn about the master’s and doctoral programs available at UTPA, as well as support services available for graduate students. UTPA currently offers 53 master’s, two doctoral, and one cooperative doctoral pharmacy program to choose from.
“This is an excellent opportunity for prospective students to learn everything they need to know about graduate school,” said Sylvia Aldape, director for center integration and administration. “Faculty can provide more information on the important contributions their graduate students are making in the community and to research in general.”
Directors and staff from most of the programs on campus will be available to answer questions regarding their program requirements and coursework. Staff will also be on hand to discuss any questions about the admissions process. Sponsored by the UTPA Office of Graduate Studies and the Alumni Association, the fair will also have computers available for students who want to begin their graduate school applications online.
