The camps are as follows:
Bronc Baseball Camp
Date: June 5-7
Time: 9 a.m.-noon
Location: Edinburg Baseball Stadium
The Fifth Annual Bronc Baseball Camp is for campers ages 5-18. The fundamental skill camp will include hitting, fielding and pitching.
UTPA All-Sports Camp
Date: June 5-8
Time: 8 a.m.-noon
Location: UTPA Fieldhouse
The camp, for children ages 6-10, will be hosted by UTPA administrators, coaches and student-athletes. Campers will participate in three different sports rotating throughout the week which include swimming, ultimate frisbee, basketball, wiffleball, volleyball, track and field, scavenger hunt, kick ball, brain bowl and soccer.
UTPA Mini Bronc Basketball Camp
Date: June 11-14
Time: 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
Location: UTPA Fieldhouse
The Mini Bronc Camp will be held for boys and girls ages 5-9. Campers will learn the basic fundamentals of the game and get the opportunity to participate in live games. The Mini Bronc Campers will also have the opportunity to use the UTPA pool facilities for an end of the camp swimming celebration. The staff for the Mini Bronc Camp will include players and coaches, and will offer campers to have fun while learning the game of basketball.
UTPA Future Bronc Basketball Camp
Date: June 18-21
Time: 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
Location: UTPA Fieldhouse
The Future Bronc Camp will be held for boys ages 8-17. Campers will learn the basic fundamentals of the game and get the opportunity to participate in live contests. The staff for the Future Bronc Camp will include players and coaches, and campers will have the opportunity to play against the camp coaching staff. The camp is a great opportunity to have fun, learn the game of basketball and receive individual instruction and development.
Girls’ Team Basketball Camp
Date: June 22-24
Time: The UTPA Girls' Camp will begin no earlier than 4 p.m. on Friday and will last from 9 a.m.- 10 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.
Location: UTPA Fieldhouse
The University of Texas-Pan American women's basketball program will be hosting the 2007 Girls' Team Camp. Each team will be guaranteed four games throughout the course of the camp, and number of teams registered will determine whether the camp will last two or three days during the month of June. This will also be an officials' evaluation camp with certified high school officials taking part in the UTPA Girls' Team Camp.
UTPA All-Hoops Girls' Basketball Camp
Date: June 29-July 1
Time: 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Friday and Saturday; and 2-5 p.m., Sunday
Location: UTPA Fieldhouse
The UTPA All-Hoops Girls' Basketball Camp will focus on improving all phases of the game, including station work on ball handling, passing, dribbling, shooting, rebounding, defense and footwork.
