| Soledad O’Brien, CNN’s co-anchor of American Morning, speaks to students, staff and faculty at The University of Texas-Pan American Student Union Theater, Oct. 24 as the first guest in the 2005-2006 Distinguished Speaker Series. During her speech, O’Brien encouraged students to work hard on their daily challenges in order to meet their goals. O’Brien also addressed the importance of persistence and how it can help students succeed in every aspect of their lives.
