El Río coordinator honored for exhibit's success

The exhibition, which highlighted the people and cultural heritage in the Rio Grande/rio Bravo river basin, closed December 13. More than 8,000 visitors toured El Río while in Edinburg, its first stop outside Washington, D.C. El Río will travel next to Monterrey, Mexico.
