This year, graduates will receive 12 tickets for family and friends to attend the ceremonies. Tickets were issued to comply with the fire marshal’s code for maximum capacity in the Fieldhouse.
The following is the spring commencement schedule:
Friday, May 16: 6 p.m. – Doctoral and Master’s candidates only.
Saturday, May 17: 9 a.m. – College of Business Administration and College of Social and Behavioral Sciences; Noon – College of Education; 3 p.m. – College of Arts and Humanities and College of Health Sciences and Human Services; and 6 p.m. – College of Science and Engineering.
The 1,315 prospective candidates for degrees include 1,054 for bachelor’s degrees, 259 candidates for master’s degrees and two for doctoral degrees.
The largest ceremonies will be the College of Education with more than 290 graduates, while the ceremony for the Colleges of Arts and Humanities and Health Sciences and Human Services is expecting 300 graduates.
