"This is a great partnership. Proceeds will go a long way to helping students get a college education and bring business to the community. It’s a win-win situation," said Bob Dill, president of Tejano Entertainment LTD, the franchise owner for Blockbuster Video in the Valley.
Proceeds from the 10,000 coupon books – which sell for a $1 each – will go towards student scholarships. Blockbuster has agreed to match proceeds received from the sale. The campaign is expected to raise $20,000 for UTPA scholarships.
