UTPA students celebrate heritage with food

Students at The University of Texas-Pan American sample a variety of Hispanic cuisine recently during the Hispanic Food Festival sponsored by the Department of Modern Languages and Literature. The festival celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month and was held in the third floor of the Communication Arts and Sciences Building. Students, staff and faculty from the department prepared an abundance of food representing the different Hispanic cultures - Mexico, Nicaragua, Chile, Cuba, Bolivia and others.
