International students learn about web design at UTPA

The University of Texas-Pan American Center for Distance Learning, in a joint effort with the U.S. Telecommunications Training Institute, hosted a web design training session for international students July 15-18. Participants, who learned the process of constructing their own web pages, were given a certificate of completion after the training and treated to a dinner. Dr. Wendy L. Fowler, far right, CDL director and associate vice president for Research, was guest speaker at the dinner.
