The event – which will feature live music by “Out of Sync,” food and beverages, a casino room and silent auction – will be Saturday, Oct. 26 at the Shary Estate in Mission.
“This is going to be one of the social events of the year,” said Dr. Susan Griffith, chair of the Women’s Athletics Foundation, which is organizing the ball. “Mark your calendars now and start planning your costume. Having a masquerade ball in the historic Shary Estate will make the event reminiscent of the days of old, which is especially significant in that it will be part of the University’s yearlong 75th anniversary celebration.”
