The British farce features 10 actors in 21 roles. Among the cast are three local high school teachers: Mauro Flores Jr., Carter Robinson and Debra Thomas. UTPA students in the show include Michael Moore, Ruby Jean Guerra, Nazli Cantu, Chandler Coy and Stacey Davila.
Director Dr. Jack Stanley, who teaches television at UTPA, selected this play because it is such a wildly imaginative look at the world of commercial TV.
Tickets are $10 for reserved seating and $5 for general admission. UTPA students, faculty and staff get two free admissions with each ID. Students and faculty from other colleges and high schools pay only $3 for a general admission seat.
Reservations for the entire season of seven plays are still available. The cost of the season subscription is $50.
The box office is open daily Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 5:30, and one hour prior to each performance. For reservations and information, call 956/391-3581.
