Nursing student receives CWCMA-NC scholarship

Lorraine Galvan, a senior in the BSN program at The University of Texas-Pan American, was recently awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the Cameron Willacy County Medical Alliance-Northern Chapter (CWCMA-NC). This year, the CWCMA-NC awarded seven scholarships to Rio Grande Valley nursing students from Cameron and Willacy counties. Galvan will graduate in fall 2002 and attend The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. For more information on the scholarship or an application, call 956/ 381-3495.
