The UTPA Mariachi will perform concerts Friday, Feb. 1 at 7 p.m., and Feb. 2-3 at 2 p.m. The UTPA Mariachi will be performing traditional mariachi music, including sones Jalisciences, canciones rancheras, and baladas romanticas.
All concerts will take place at the UTPA Fine Arts Auditorium and include a performance by the Sol y Luna International Dancers. Tickets are $5 at the door.
A public schools concert will also be presented Feb. 1 at 9:30 a.m. Tickets are $3 per student (accompanying teachers are free).
