For the second year, coupon books on sale at 24 Rio Grande Valley Blockbuster Video stores will benefit students at The University of Texas-Pan American.

Proceeds from the 10,000 coupon books, which cost $1, will be donated to the University. And, as in last year’s campaign, Blockbuster has agreed to match proceeds received from the sale.
“Blockbuster is proud to partner with another great community leader, The University of Texas-Pan American,” said Dill. “For years, Blockbuster has strived to give back to the communities we serve. There is no better way than helping students get an education.”
Last year’s campaign raised $20,000 in scholarships for UTPA students.
The books feature coupons for free movie rentals, discounts at restaurants and local businesses, a complimentary fitness center pass and more.
