The ceremony was extra special for two pairs of graduates. Mother and daughter Maria G. Cazares and Celia Zuniga, and husband and wife Julio and Flor Morales each were part of the pinning ceremony. All four graduated Saturday, Dec. 22 with the rest of their class.
Mistress of ceremonies was Shannon Dowdall, and keynote speaker was Carmen Villadar. Also present were Dr. Helen M. Castillo, dean of the College of Health Sciences and Human Services; Dr. Carolina G. Huerta, Department of Nursing chair; Dr. Sandy Sanchez, BSN program coordinator; and several BSN faculty members, clinical faculty and secretarial staff.
