During his tenure with TACRAO, Morris has served on the Texas Common Course Number System, Audit, Technology and Local Arrangements committees. He also has been treasurer, president-elect, president and past president of the organization.
Recently, and with help from University programmers, he also devised a computer program that committee members can use to input their sessions toward developing printed programs.
“Throughout my career, I have known Bill Morris as a hard worker for TACRAO, involved at many levels, including the presidency,” said Dr. John Edwards, UTPA vice president for Enrollment and Student Services. “But he has also been a wonderful advisor and friend.
“Bill represents what is best about our organization. It is now my pleasure to be able to work with him almost on a daily basis and to benefit ‘close up’ from his sage counsel.”
