The concerts will be at the UTPA Fine Arts Auditorium. Also performing will be the Sol y Luna International Dancers presenting traditional dances from Mexico.
The UTPA Mariachi is one of the best-known musical groups on and off campus. The ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Dahlia Guerra, presents multiple performances each semester throughout the Rio Grande Valley.
For five straight years, the UTPA Mariachi have been selected as the “Outstanding College or University Mariachi” in national competition in San Antonio.
Tickets are $7 at the door.
