The University of Texas-Pan American and International Technology Partners are partnering to offer information technology certification training throughout South Texas.
Through UTPA’s International and Workforce Development program, training in a variety of today’s most critical computer skills will be available at various locations. The University also has a mobile computer classroom unit to deliver training directly at corporate locations.
Course offerings will focus on skills most demanded by business needs in the Rio Grande Valley. Initial course offerings will include prep courses for the A+ Certification, the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineering (MCSE) program and the Certified Internet Webmaster (CIW) credential.
“We see an increasing need for high-level computer skills in this region, ” said Bret L. Mann, UTPA Office of Center Operations and Community Services executive director. “I’m convinced that certification training for today’s key technologies – including Microsoft, CompTia, Oracle, Cisco and Internet development – generally provides the most relevant and up-to-date information for those working in the IT field.”
International Technology Partners – a division of International Technology Investments, LLC – is an international technology consulting firm with specific expertise in providing information technology (IT) training and certification.
