The University of Texas-Pan American will host “Night Of Illusions,” featuring magician Brian Brushwood and hypnotist C.J. Johnson, Thursday, April 19.
Sponsored by the University Program Board, the show begins at 8 p.m. at the Student Union Theatre. Tickets are $2 for students, $3 for faculty/staff and $4 general admission and are being sold at the Student Union information desk.
Bushwood is known for his unique magic acts. He has performed fire-eating stunts, sleight of hand and record-breaking straightjacket escapes.
Johnson travels across college campuses performing hypnosis on students and faculty. He has participants doing strange, crazy tasks like forgetting their names or becoming a “crocodile hunter.”
