UTPA to celebrate awarding of 50,000th undergraduate degree
The University of Texas-Pan American will celebrate the awarding of its 50,000th undergraduate degree during the 2009 summer commencement ceremonies Saturday, Aug. 22 at the McAllen Convention Center.

Sixty Hidalgo Early College High School students attend summer classes on campus
Four years ago, when Alvah Samano entered the Early College High School Program as a ninth grader at Hidalgo High School, he probably could not yet envision sitting in a classroom at The University of Texas-Pan American this summer with already nearly 40 college credit hours as a high school student about to enter his senior year this fall.

College cost reduction program to help UTPA students
