UTPA’s community college transfer rate increases by 18.4 percent
With the launch of The University of Texas-Pan American Transfer Center in 2009 and its numerous articulation agreements with community colleges in South Texas, UTPA has bumped up its transfer student rate by 18.4 percent for 2008-2009. The influx of community college transfer students helped The University of Texas System increase its percentage rate by 11.3 among its nine academic institutions.
