The public is invited to learn how to be part of the entrepreneurial community that is transforming Rio South Texas by attending the Second Annual Technology Entrepreneurship Bootcamp being held at The University of Texas-Pan American on Friday, March 5.
The Office of Graduate Studies at The University of Texas-Pan American is providing a one-stop shop for the entire community to learn about the master’s and doctoral programs offered at UTPA during the upcoming annual Spring Graduate Fair. With more than 60 graduate programs, the opportunities are endless for anyone seeking to further their education or advance in their career.
Faculty and students at The University of Texas-Pan American will have the opportunity to hear from Dr. Kent B. Monroe, Emeritus John M. Jones Distinguished Professor of Marketing at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Visiting Distinguished Scholar in marketing at the University of Richmond, during a lecture scheduled for Friday, March 5 at the university.
Nearly 200 family members, friends, faculty, staff and students came together Feb. 19 to celebrate the opening of the “Pillars of Success” exhibition, which features the photos and the success stories of five distinguished alumni that will be on display in the university’s Visitors Center for the next two years.
It is with great sadness that The University of Texas-Pan American announces the passing of Kathryn Dodd, a lecturer in the Biology Department in the College of Science and Engineering.
Dodd died Sunday, Feb. 14 following a brave battle with cancer for the past five months. She was 50 years old.
