UTPA Volunteer Resource Program Delivers Toys to Reynosa Children
The University of Texas-Pan American's Volunteer Resource Program (VRP) delivered nearly 2,500 toys and school supplies to the children of Colonia El Anhelo in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico Jan. 6 in what was the culmination of a campus-wide, three-week toy drive.

Retired biology professor and former Bronc athlete both honored during UTPA basketball game
Antonio de la Peña, former biology professor and faculty athletic representative for five years at The University of Texas-Pan American, and Jim Board, former UTPA basketball player on the 1963 NAIA championship team, were honored at the basketball game between UTPA Broncs and Texas State University Dec.15, 2005.
