UTPA strong partner in South Texas/Hispanic Scholarship Fund
The University of Texas-Pan American continues to be one of the leading recipients of the South Texas/Hispanic Scholarship Fund, which has awarded nearly $626,000 to more than 450 UTPA students during the past five years to help with tuition, fees and books.

Mineta to address transit issues at Border Summit
As part of the prestigious U.S.-Mexico Border Summit Aug. 22-24 at The University of Texas-Pan American, U.S. Secretary of Transportation Norman Mineta will discuss major transportation corridors and the Department’s many programs to develop and improve the border transportation infrastructure and ability to safely process increasing traffic flows at border points of entry.
