Hidalgo County residents who are registered to vote will have another place to cast their ballots early: The University of Texas-Pan American.
UT Pan American will host an early voting site for the upcoming primary elections at its Student Union from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18-Friday, Feb. 28, except for Sunday, Feb. 23, which has voting hours from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Voters are required to present photo identification at the site. Only voters registered in Hidalgo County are allowed to cast ballots at this location.
The Student Union Building (STUN) is located on the south end of campus. Metered parking is available in Lot A, just south of the Student Union. The building and parking lot can be found on this campus map.
While the Student Union will be an early voting site for the runoff election, it will not be a polling location for the actual primary election Tuesday, March 4.
