The Board of Regents, the governing body for The University of Texas System, gathered at The University of Texas-Pan American for the first time in 10 years to commence their two-day visit to South Texas Wednesday afternoon. The Board started off their visit at the International Trade and Technology Building with meetings for various committees on academic affairs, health affairs, and finance. The Board will conclude their visit Thursday, Feb. 7 with a general Board meeting. This will be the Board of Regents' fourth visit to the University, since UTPA joined the UT System in 1989. The Board last visited UTPA in 1999.
