If you are looking to learn more about careers in law enforcement or criminal justice or possibly find a job in these fields, The University of Texas-Pan American Office of Career Services will be hosting the Second Annual Law Enforcement Career Expo in collaboration with U.S. Customs and Border Protection Tuesday, Oct. 9.
Open to all University students, the expo will be held at the University Ballroom from noon-4 p.m.
More than 20 agencies from the local, state and federal levels will be recruiting and providing information about the various career opportunities they offer, including internships and full-time positions. Among the agencies participating in the expo include the UTPA and other local and state police departments, U.S. Border Patrol, Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Parks and Wildlife, U.S. Marshals, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and others.
