Students at The University of Texas-Pan American concluded Spirit Week activities on campus with the traditional lighting of the UTPA letters Friday, Oct. 12. The lighting of the letters was part of Midnight Madness activities where UTPA students participated in an action-packed evening of fajita and buffalo wing cook-off competitions, dance contests, music, games, cheerleader and dance team performances, and a tailgate party. The UTPA Cheerleaders, Blazer Dance Team, Office of Student Development, University Program Board, and Student Union sponsored Spirit Week, held Oct. 8-12.
