UTPA joins RGV Sports Hall of Fame to host baseball legacy event May 17

The University of Texas-Pan American College of Education in conjunction with the Rio Grande Valley Sports Hall of Fame will be hosting the Baseball Legacy of the Rio Grande Valley Thursday, May 17, 6:30 p.m. at the UTPA College of Education Borderlands Room, 3.204. The event will celebrate 100 years of baseball history in South Texas with an exhibit of baseball memorabilia of different eras and honoring former outstanding Bronc baseball players. Also featured will be legendary UTPA coach Al Ogletree who will serve as the guest of honor. Pictured are members of the History and Legacy of Baseball committee.
