Students from The University of Texas-Pan American built balloon castles Jan. 10 at the UTPA Ballroom as part of a challenge during LeaderShape Institute week Jan. 8-13. The LeaderShape Institute is a program that offers 60 UTPA engineering and business students an opportunity to participate in six days of extensive educational sessions and activities that teach students how to "lead with integrity." Participation in the program is open to sophomores and juniors who have at least a 2.5 GPA and are majoring in either engineering or business. The program is co-sponsored by Halliburton and Ford Motor Company. Pictured are students who participated in the balloon castles challenge.
