The University of Texas-Pan American Foundation is hosting its 24th Annual Estate Planning Seminars for Rio Grande Valley citizens in several Valley locations over the next two months.

The UTPA Foundation has recruited an outstanding group of estate planning professionals - attorneys, financial planners, CPA's and investment brokers - who will guide those who attend the free seminars through the basics of estate planning in simple, non-technical language.

"A little basic training can help develop strategies for successfully maneuvering through tax planning, investments, wills, living trusts and a myriad of other opportunities that can ensure a successful retirement and an appropriate distribution of one's assets. The Foundation would also like individuals in the Valley to know how they can incorporate gifting strategies for their favorite charities in their estate plans," Debbie Gonzalez, director of Planned Giving, said.
