As part of National Student Leadership Week, April 18-22, nationally-acclaimed motivational speaker Curtis Zimmerman spoke to students at The University of Texas-Pan American Tuesday evening, April 19, in the Student Union Theatre. Zimmerman's high-energy performance captured the attention of more than 150 students in attendance. His message centered on his philosophy of "Leadership is not founded on good management. It is the magic of interpersonal relationships and being driven to drive others." Zimmerman's act featured jokes as well as a session of the game "Simon Says." The Student Leadership Academy and the Student Leadership Program at UTPA sponsored the weeklong activities.
