Edinburg Rotary Club provides additional support for UTPA scholarships

The Edinburg Rotary Club has recently added $10,000 to the Edinburg Rotary Club Endowment Scholarship which was initially established in June 1993 to provide scholarships to area students attending The University of Texas-Pan American. The organization has also donated an additional $4,000 to award a renewable scholarship for up to four years starting in fall 2005 to a student in each of four high schools located in Edinburg - Edinburg, Edinburg North, Edinburg Economedes in the Edinburg Consolidated Independent School District and the South Texas Independent School District's Business, Education and Technology Academy (BETA).
