Students looking to get involved with The University of Texas-Pan American as campus leaders will have a chance to do some one-stop shopping by attending UTPA's first Leadership Opportunities Fair Tuesday, March 22 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Student Union Theater.
The fair will allow students to connect with several campus organizations as well as with University departments and offices. Those who attend will be able to use these connections to learn about the wide variety of leadership positions available across campus.
The Leadership Opportunities Fair, which is open to all UTPA students, carries the theme "Become an Involved Leader." The fair is being sponsored by the Dean of Students in conjunction with the Student Leadership Academy.
The event will feature recruiters for a wide variety of leader-oriented campus positions, including Student Government Association officers and senators, University Program Board officers and committee members, Residence Life positions, Residence Hall Association officers, Student Ambassadors, University Student Organization Council officers, Bacchus and Gamma officers, Judicial Peer Advocates, Campus Life Committee members and Student Leadership Academy registration.
For more information or to obtain a complete list of fair participants, call Amy Martin at 956/381-2260 or visit the Dean of Students Office in UC 104.
